Inspired by the listening chairs at the Thomas Corum Foundation, London - where chairs with speakers inserted into the upper ‘wings’ of the chair play excerpts from Handel (who was a benefactor of the foundation and composed music to raise funds for the foundling hospital). Something lovely about having the sound close to your ear but not actually pushed into it.
