Richard Twose to judge Bath Open Art Prize 2015

We are very pleased to welcome Richard on board team FaB

Richard Twose is a Bath based Fine Artist who gained national renown as the 2nd prize winner of the BP Portrait Award in 2014, for his portrait of Jean Wood (right). Richard’s initial interest was 3D work and was a jeweller for many years, exploring themes of myths and stories while running a successful jewellery business with his wife. Alongside teaching History of Art, he has been focusing his energies on oil painting since 2008 and as well as portraits and interiors he has recently started working with Gifford’s Circus to use performance as a theme in some new work.

Visit Richard Twose’s website for more information: www.richardtwose.co.uk, and see Katherine Tyrrell's interviewing Richard at the BP Portrait Awards below.

Richard will be deciding the winner of the Bath Open Arts Prize, to be announced during the exhibition at 44Ad Artspace 1st-8th June, part of FaB Festival 2015.
