44AD artspace is delighted to announce the upcoming exhibition SEEN AGAIN, an exhibition of painting by Theo Dunford.

Winner of the FaB Bath Open Art Prize 2023 Gallery Award, which is annually sponsored by 44AD, Theo received a three-month studio residency, followed by a solo exhibition in the gallery space.

Theo has embraced this opportunity to create a series of new work for SEEN AGAIN, his first solo exhibition. For us, at the studios, it has been fascinating to see the process behind his practice; an observation of still life assemblages using sculptural props and handmade viewing apparatus, which he uses as a conduit to explore colour and shape.

The resulting paintings have a beautiful geometric aesthetic which really draw the viewer in.

Theo will be giving a free tour and talk of his show on Thurs 01 Feb at 11am.
