Earthbound: Art, Migration, and Material Connections
Call-out to Artists:
We invite submissions for an exhibition exploring the transformative processes of natural materials and their connection to themes of migration, resilience, and ecological interdependence. We seek artists working with foraged local materials—wild clay, wood, and earth pigments—as well as those engaging in photography, performance, and movement-based practices.
To support participating artists, we are willing to collect foraged local materials to make available for use in artworks. Additionally, we may be able to match artists from further afield with local artists to share studio space, fostering collaboration and deeper community engagement.
We welcome site-specific works and artist interventions that interact with the local landscape, fostering a dialogue between art, ecology, and place. Submissions from diverse perspectives and disciplines are highly valued.
